It's a little complicated for men to maintain long hair because of limited care options. However, with a little effort, innovation and knowledge you can easily find a great hairstyle to go with your long hair.

Choosing Straighteners For Black Hair

Many African American women will spend several years using straighteners to style their hair. This can cause major damage if it is not done correctly. It may not happen right away, but the problems can gradually develop over time. This is why it is so important to know how to properly groom and care for the hair.

Some mothers will start using chemicals on their daughters' hair during childhood. This is almost always done out of good intentions. In many cases, it's because the hair is so tight with curls, that combing the hair can cause pain in the scalp. This is especially true for girls who are "tender headed." Putting a permanent straightener in the hair makes the strands more manageable and decreases the tension thus taking the pain out of styling.

That's the positive side of using chemical straighteners. Unfortunately, there is also a down side to this because it can cause major damage, especially if the processing is not done correctly. Most beauticians will recommend that a person leave the hair relaxing to a professional.

This is not an option for everyone. Going to the beauty salon can cost anywhere from $ 50 to over $ 100 dollars, depending on how many and what types of treatments are used. Also prices can vary from one stylist to another.

This is why many people choose to apply their perms themselves. Before doing this, it is important to research the various products that are available. Start by asking friends which treatments work best for them and which ones they advise avoiding. Learn from the experiences from others and this can save you time and money, not to mention this may spare you from hair loss.

Take into consideration your hair type. Are your strands fine or course? These factors can help you determine which product will work best for you. It will also help you decide if you need a mild, regular, or super straightener. Carefully read the ingredients and the warning labels to see if it will cause an adverse reaction to other chemicals that you may already be using.

Short Hairstyles For Women

Before choosing a short haircut you have to do a research between the short hairstyles. The beauty of the short hairstyles is that you can accommodate the shape to enhance or distract certain traits. So you have to be very careful in your choice. Some short hairstyles can make a round face seems enormous. Be sure that the hairstyle fits your face.

Other thing that you have to determine is whether the chosen hairstyle is adequate to your hair type. Every different type of hair has different flow and fall. Make sure that these elements are mixed well for your hairstyle.

Making appropriate short hairstyles is a sum of form, texture and hair products. Once your hair is short, the hair products will become your best friends because they will allow you to change the “feel” of the haircut. The hair grows at different speed and needs a regular cut to be maintained in perfect condition. Prepare for regular visits to the beauty salon and for more work and different skills to maintain your hair in perfect condition. The short hairstyles are not a license to be free of care. Be sure that you and your stylist are on the same wavelength.

You should be amazed by the incredible amount of hairstyles that can be achieved with a short haircut. There are many interpretations of the short hairstyles. You can take a smooth bob with long and asymmetrical bang and transform it into soft waves, using the proper technique.

The classic short and medium hairstyles are essential for women who love the classic look but also want to be modern and in style.

The very short hairstyles attract the attention to the eyes. They fit particularly well with narrow face, nice neck and beautiful skin. Styling tips: apply hair gel or mousse. Dry with a hair dryer or, if you have time, let it dry naturally. Once the hair has dried, apply a generous amount of wax and distributed equally throughout the hair. Style your hair as you like.

A soft wave at the top area creates texture and volume. You can try short hairstyles with volume and a short bang. For normal and thick hair apply mouse and let it dry naturally, the fine hair looks more texture when is used a hair dryer.

The bob hairstyle comes in different aspects and forms, and can be set to one side individually creating a single framework around the face. For more modern look try to keep your bob’s tips flat, soften light or curls inwards. Do not think that the “bob” has to be always the same – the bang can be different, whether full, thrown to one side, or removed from the face using clips. You can update your look instantly with little effort.

All colors are appropriate, depending of the searching results. The dark colors are more expressive and vivid, the blond can be more impressive. The highlights must be very lightweight and must redo every 8 weeks. To select the appropriate hair color always consider your skin tone.

With more and more women around the world loving and sometimes needing the help of extensions, I felt it more important than ever to explain the fundamentals, of buying quality hair extensions, to help women be more informed and able to understand the hair extensions industry, in order to make informative choices and to stop losing money and time on sub-standard hair extensions and or application methods.

Having great hair extensions is incredible and can even be life changing one who has struggled with fine or limp locks or which simply does not grow long and luscious like they wish it would, hair extensions can offer the greatest solution to their hair woes.

I have first hand knowledge regarding all application methods, processing procedures and origins and after 14 years of being a senior extension artist and master trainer in all methods of attachment I would like to share with you the some in depth knowledge to help you purchase the extensions of your dreams, so you never have to worry about tangling, damage to your own hair or uncomfortable or even painful low quality hair extensions again!

So lets begin. I have broken this article into several key categories. Please read through the steps carefully. This will help to inform you and assist you with asking the correct questions when purchasing hair extensions from your dealer.

Learn about where your hair extensions REALLY come from!

CAN I VISIT THE SUPPLIER? Do you know much about your supplier / extension artist?

Are you really comfortable handing over hundreds of dollars to someone you "hope 'will sell you a good product?

Please do not make the mistake of simply thinking that if you receive a sample of the hair it will mean you will be buying good hair in the future … many suppliers simply have a some good hair samples and then they send out bad hair after an order is made. You really need to see several packs first to ensure the hair will be high quality on a CONSISTENT basis … especially if you are going to buy it long term.

STEP 1

Can you visit the supplier?

Be sure your hair extensions provider / artist has an 'open door' policy. Even if they are too far away … to visit … do they allow the public to see the hair before they buy?

Can they show you the different type of hair before you buy it?

Do they have examples of non-remy and real remy hair to show you so you can be 100% sure the product they are selling is the real thing?

Yes I know all of this effort seems like a lot but it is important especially if you intend on purchasing or having hair extensions regularly.

If the provider hides behind a website … you can be pretty sure they also have something to hide

European and Russian grade hair

Growing hair for extensions is serious work. Some women and men who grow hair must follow a special diet to ensure that their hair will be healthy, well nourished and of the best quality.

STEP 2

What is the origin of the hair?

European and Russian grade hair can originate from any country where the desired hair structure can be collected. It is simply impossible for all of the European and Russian hair supplies to come from one or two regions for this reason the words European and Russian hair which may once upon a time have been more country exclusive is now a loose term for human hair that is compatible with the greater hair extensions industries consumers.

Most blond hair sold as extensions is extremely expensive and simply inaccessible due to rising demand in hair extensions in the resent years, therefore natural blonde hair extensions are very hard to come by, so one would have to assume that almost all hair sold in lighter shades will have some lightening and processing to reach the desired shade.

European hair comes in a host of textures, from straight, to wavy to curly. Because of the difference in texture, the hair is compatible with most people but may not work with other hair textures such as African or Asian.

European and Russian hair can come from almost any country where a finer cross section of hair is available for sale. Colors are generally medium brown to dark brown and will be dyes lighter if required. Human hair is far softer and healthier if it has not appreciated with aggressive acid bathes to shave back its cuticle.

Asian Hair

Asian hairs are typically thick, straight, and coarse. Because it is quite strong and straight it can be quite difficult to manage and get it to hold a style for this reason Asian hair can be stripped in an acid bath to make the cuticle smaller so the hair is finer … this however tremendously damages the hair structure, requiring the need for silicone to coat the exposed cuticle. However once the silicone was washed off after a few short washes the damaged cuticle is exposed again and the hair tangles, matts and loses its shine, soon after becoming impossible to manage and therefore requiring removal of the hair additions. As synthetic hair fibers are often manufactured in Asia we are finding the rise in heat resistant synthetic fibers being mixed with human hair … this is becoming a far greater practice than ever before resulting in matting and tangling and problems when trying to straighten the hair .

Indian Hair

Indian hair Pilgrims sacrifice their hair to the God Vishnu in a process called tonsuring. Their hair is then sorted, washed and dyed for marketing. Often times the people of India have no idea they have been tricked into donating their hair so it can be sold at a premium and then shipped off and sold to Western countries for the use of hair extensions. This has been the cause of some controversies, and many people now refuse to buy Indian hair based on ethical reasons.

Unfortunately due to the rising demand in human hair extensions Indian hair is often mixed with synthetic hair and / or animal hair during processing.

More and more often this is happening (as the documentary on "A current affair") outlined recently. Indian hair is becoming very difficult to buy with confidence as it often ends up tangling and matting due the hair being mixed with something else and or not being cuticle correct.

So where possible it is much better to buy 100% human European or Russian hair if you have a European texture.

If you are of Asian descent always choose 100% Asian hair which has not been processed – you will need to therefore ask for "virgin 'Asian hair. stripped.

If you are of Indian decent, please choose "virgin" Indian 100% remy hair, this hair will have the same texture as your own hair. You will need to be sure it has not been mixed with any foreign materials before purchase.

Step 3

Is the Hair Remy?

The next critical step in purchasing hair extensions is whether it is remy or not.

The first step in determining if Remy hair extensions are truly Remy, with cuticles and prepared root to tip, is to examine the roots, mid-shaft and ends of the hair fiber. It is fairly normal for cuticles to be missing or worn down near the ends of the hair strands, but thick and healthy near the roots.

You may be on a budget and think … well this hair is super cheap and probably is not remy … but it should be OK … you will just brush it a bit more … right? … wrong!

Non-remy hair is a girls worst nightmare and something you NEVER want to deal with.

Initially before the silicone coating has worn off … you may find it easy to manage … but after a few washes the real state of the hair reveals itself. It will tangle and matt terribly!

After the silicone coating comes off you will NEVER be able to make it look nice … well maybe if you do not move an inch. As soon as there is any movement … it will catch like Velcro and become a knotty mess.

Now you understand you should never buy non-remy hair …

So it's easy … just ask for remy hair … right? Well unfortunately most of the hair extension sellers today, simply have NO IDEA what they are selling and have not themselves been directly involved in the complex hair trade world.

The seller often has little or no experience in hair extension care, application and processing methods and little knowledge of the true origin of theair itself.

Often untrained and inexperienced companies believe selling human hair is like any other product.

This could not be further from the truth! extensions are not like any other manufactured product … every head of hair is different and with the array of processing methods, origins of the hair in and of itself, the textures, lengths, grades and coloring methods..Hair extensions are incredibly complicated and complex subject.

One would require many years of understanding of the compounding structures of human hair and of the world's hair trade itself to successfully ensure the human hair they sell is soft, naturally shiny and extremely provided a hassle free experience while installed within the recipients own hair.

For all the afore mentioned reasons, it is very important you find out how much experience your seller really has.

Unfortunately though, not very many companies sell 100% Remy hair extensions because it is not only expensive raw hair but very expensive to manufacture. Real remy hair extensions that are properly kept in the Remy state are also very expensive for the buyer and can not be purchased cheaply. With the rise in competition within the industry, many sellers in their haste to offer the "cheapest" extensions, will secretly buy cheap, non-remy or mixed Indian or Chinese hair and forward it as a genuine high quality product on to the unknowing customer .

If the hair is really 100% Remy human hair, it is a worthy investment otherwise especially you are throwing your money away.

Top 10 Hair Style Tips to Avoid a Bad Hair Day

No More Bad Hair Days!

If you ask most professional hair stylists they will tell you that less than 25% of the female population actually knows what face shape and skin tone they have. Knowing your face shape will allow you to pick the perfect hair cut. Knowing your skin tone will allow you to pick the perfect hair color. Most women know even less about how to style their hair.

Women are also confused when it comes to knowing what type of hair they have. They may have a lot of hair, which makes them think they have thick hair when in reality each individual strand of hair may be thin, coarse or wavy. This is the reason many women purchase and use the wrong hair styling products. If you've ever experienced a bad hair day check out this list of the top 10 reasons why they happen and vow to avoid all of them when creating your next hair styling moment.

Here are the top top hair style mistakes hair professionals will tell you most women make:

1. Poor blow drying habits.

Just about every woman's hair can use some volume. Even hair that is poker straight will look better with some volume. The trick is in the blow drying. Do not blow dry your hair front to back- dry it back to front, lifting at the roots, bringing your hair up using a round brush. For even more volume use a vent brush. The blow dryer should be held at least 12 inches from your scalp, and keep it moving.

2. No protection.

If you use a blow dryer, curling iron, and / or electric curlers you should be using a thermal protector spray. With out it your hair is unacceptable to damage from the high heat temperatures. Just spray your hair lightly and comb it through to distribute it evenly.

3. The wrong choice.

You would think that most women would know their hair type. But when it comes to picking the perfect products for their hair type most women do not have a clue. You may know that your hair is curly but is it a fine, coarse or medium texture? Is it color-treated, straight, wavy, or thinning? Do you need a thick gel or just some light mousse? If you are unsure of your exact hair type, ask your stylist. Perhaps you will need to combine two or more products to get the best results. It's not rocket science but it's close!

4. Too much of a good thing.

Even when they find the perfect product, most women use too much of it. When your hair stylist gives you the perfect hair cut for your hair, few styling products should be necessary. Your hair should fall into place naturally. No more than a dime size of product is usually necessary. You will need even less of serums or pomades as they are more concentrated. Weighting your hair down with too much product can make it look unwashed and it will become a dust magnet.

5. Flat iron flattening

Incorrect use of the flat iron is evident to most hairstylists. Many women forget the thermal spray that protects the hair shaft from the heat of a flat iron. After using the protection you should start by sectioning your hair into small sections almost as wide as the flat iron. Starting at the roots, slowly pull the iron down to silken and smooth the hair. When you come to the end of your hair you can choose to pull straight out, flip up or flip under.

6. Trying to style wet or damp hair.

Only hair that is completely dry will hold a hair style. If your hair takes a long time to blow dry you may want to wash it at night to avoid feeling rushed in the morning. Actually hair that has had time to recoup some of the oils that have been washed out will have better. Once your hair is completely dry, apply any styling products you are using and continue to dry your hair on a low to medium setting. Then style.

7. Waiting too long in between hair cuts.

Ask any professional: A great hairstyle begins with a great hair cut. Some hair cuts will look great as they grow out, but if you like the hairstyle your wearing, get back to the hairstylist as soon as your hair begins to grow out. This could be anywhere between 4 to 8 weeks. This will help the stylist know just what look you want. Another good tip is when you get that perfect hairstyle or haircut, be sure to take a picture, one of the front, one of the back, and both sides, and bring them with you. This way the hairstylist will know exactly what you want. Even if you want to grow your hair out, a trim of the spilled ends is very important. Frequent trims will cut the split end off before it can split the entire shaft of hair. This is important if you want a smooth and silky look to your hair.

8. Over styling.

Unless you're a runway model or someone who is embarking on one of life's most momentous occasions, like your wedding or prom, there is no need to go over board. Today's styles call for natural hair that moves and falls freely. This is achieved with the proper hairstyle that fits your hair type and the use of just the right hair styling products.

9. Under styling

Just the opposite of over styling are the millions of women who do nothing. Without your hair is only a few inches long, it's not "wash and go". The right hair cut, a little blow drying and styling product can make all the difference in the world. Give it a try!

10. Pick the wrong hair style all together.

Most women choose a hair style that they see on someone else. What looks good on your favorite celebrity or co-worker may not be the hair style that fits your face shape or will work with your type of hair texture, be it wavy, curly, poker straight or thick and springy. Your hair stylist will know what your hair will and will not do, so it is best to bring some hair style pictures with you when visiting your hair stylist for a new hair cut.

After Your Hair Sheds Or Falls Out, How Long Does it Take it to Start Growing Back?

I’m asked this question quite a bit. After going through the trauma of seeing shedding hair all over your clothing and home, many people are more than ready to begin regrowing their hair and to have this process finished and over. People want to know when they should starting looking for small signs of regrowth. Many people will look, see nothing, and worry that their hair just isn’t going to grow back. Knowing the correct time frame will help you to determine if everything is happening as it should. I will discuss this more in the following article.

Typical Hair Regrowth Rates: Sometimes people confess to me that they think hair that has shed out or been involved with telogen effluvium (TE) regrows differently than hair that comes out as part of a normal follicle cycle. This really isn’t entirely accurate. Once a hair comes out of the follicle, it generally then reverts back to the growing phrase (so long as there is not some autoimmune or androgen mechanism taking place as in disorders like alopecia areata or AGA where the follicle is being attacked or compromised.) So, once the shaft is forced out of your scalp and falls out, then the follicle will begin it’s regrowth phase and this process happens quite rapidly.

However, what’s not so rapid or fast is human hair regrowth rates. For most people, this is about 1/2 a millimeter per day so that over a month’s time, you’re looking at about 1/2 inch or regrowth. A good rule of thumb is that most people should start seeing decent levels of regrowth at around 2 – 3 months after the worst shedding took place. Some people see this earlier and some see this later, but 1/2 inch per month is considered typical or average.

If you’re not seeing any new hairs coming in, try spraying some dry shampoo right at the top of your head by the part line (or any other area where you’ve been particularly hard hit.) This will coat your strands and should make those new regrowth strands that are just coming in stand out from the rest. Yes, these hairs will be quite short, but if you give them a little time, eventually they will begin to fill in and to give you some volume. In about six months to a year, your hair should resume a normal appearance.

Another thing to try to see the new hairs is to pull your hair straight back or to comb it forward or against the grain. This will make those new little hairs stand up where you should be able to see them. So what happens if you’re not seeing anything? You may have somewhat slower grow rates. Recheck every week. Hopefully, in the next few weeks you should begin to see some little sprouts coming in. If you don’t, you may want to consider that perhaps your hair loss was caused by something other than TE or common shedding.

Because in TE or seasonal shedding, the follicle is just being reset into the shedding phrase, but nothing has happened to damage it. There are other causes of hair loss (like androgenic alopecia or AGA) that will compromise regrowth. Another potential indication that something else might be going on is seeing miniaturized or very fine or flyaway regrowth that is coming in, but not really providing any volume or coverage.

Hair Loss – Cause, Prevention and Treatment

The adult scalp contains about 100,000 hair follicles. Everyday the scalp loses about 100 hairs and they will grow back in 5-6 weeks. Starting at age 40, the levels of by-product prolactin of testosterone of men increases, stimulating the production of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase that causes the conversion of testosterone to gihydro-testosterones DHT causing our hair to grow back thinner or not grown back at all. This causes an androgenic alopecia hair loss problem, since DHT shrinks the follicles causing hair thins and hair receding at the forehead, crown and temple for men and thins over the entire scalp for women. What causes hair loss.

1. The Causes of Hair Loss

a) Aging
Human aging is the biological process that is unavoidable but controllable with healthy diet with complex carbohydrates, green foods, garlic, onion, water and juices that will help to decrease the aging process in some degree. It also helps to reduce the amount of DHT produced in our body, resulting in postponing hair loss to our scalp.

b) Mineral deficiency
Minerals such as calcium, iron, copper, chromium, iodine, zinc, and magnesium are necessary to maintain healthy hair growth. Mineral deficiency will reduce the chance to regulate the blood circulation that promotes healthy hair growth and thyroid hormones that prevent dry hair and hair loss as well as defects in hair color. Too much iron is toxic to your body. Be sure to talk to your doctor before taking any mineral supplement.

c) Oxygen deficiency
Oxygen deficiency in your blood weakens the hair follicles, leading to dryness of the scalp and hair loss. Uncontrolled diet that is high in saturated fat causes cholesterol building up in your arms resulting in less oxygen in your blood stream. Also cigarette smoking and second hand smoke reduces the blood flow and increases the blood clotting activity of cells which would clog the blood flow and damage arteries causing oxygen deficiency and results in weakened of the hair follicles.

d) Side affects of medication taken
Some medications contain elements that may cause hair loss such as lithium, warfarin, heparin, and amphetamines. When hair loss is a side effect of a medication, hair growth usually returns to normal once the drug is stopped.

e) Genetic hair loss
Hair loss is due to heredity. It is passed down from generation to generation. Genetic hair loss appears predominately in men, but may also appear in a few select women.

2. Food to Avoid

Foods that can cause hair loss and diminish hair growth.

a) Saturated and Trans fat
Foods such as meat, poultry, and fried foods contain high saturated fat. Foods such as margarine, cheese, and butter contain high amounts of trans fat. These foods cause cholesterol to build up in your arms and small veins in your scalp resulting in less oxygen being delivered to the cell in your body, including the cells on the follicles.

b) Foods that contain Aspartame and Monosodium Glutamate
Monosodium Glutamate contain chemicals that causes weight gain, increased appetite and also causes various kinds of health problems such as hair loss.
Aspartame contains toxic chemicals that make you gain weight, increases hunger and causes medical problems like migraines and poor blood circulation.

c) Smoking
As we mentioned in the previous article, smoking can reduce blood flow to the scalp causing hardening in the arteries, limit blood flow and make hair loss worse.

d) Artificial Color
Artificial color contains chemical compounds that take their toll on the body's natural balance.
Specific foods to avoid include colored drinks, color-coated candies, gummy and chewy candies, and many colored cereals.

e) Preservatives
These are potentially toxic to the liver and kidneys that cause hair loss and prevent hair growth as we mentioned in the article "Hair loss part IV – regrow hair with Chinese herbs".

f) Food Packaging
Polyvinyl chloride is a known carcinogen, and it's often used as plastic food wrap. It is toxic with high amounts causing damage to the kidney and liver resulting in hair loss.

g) Salt
Eating too much salt can lead to fluid retention and increased blood pressure that cause less oxygen to be delivered to the body's cells including cells in your scalp in result of losing hair.

3. Hair Loss Prevention and Treatment

I. Here are some important minerals that may help to prevent hair loss and promote hair re-growth:

a) Iron
Iron is involved in the oxygenation of your body's red blood cells. It is essential for normal hair growth and maintaining healthy hair. If the amount of iron can not be replaced with food intake, iron deficiency will cause hair loss because of oxygen deficiency.

b) Zinc
It helps to secure the scalp with much needed oil and avoid dandruff that may cause hair loss.

c) Copper
Study shows that these tripeptide complexes may actually be able to regrow hair, even in patients with total hair loss due to alopecia. Healthy tissue concentrations of copper lie between 1. 7 and 3. 5 milligrams. Everything else will cause hair loss.

d) B vitamins
The deficiency of B vitamins (specifically B6, B3, B5 and folic acid) in your diet may lead to hair loss.

e) Biotin
Biotin works as an anti aging agent and helps to produce keratin in preventing gray hair and hair loss.
Sources of biotin are: whole grains, egg yolks, liver, rice and milk.

f) Vitamin A
Vitamin A is important for over-all good health. It's also beneficial to hair follicles, as it keeps the hair root lubricated. Too much vitamin A may result in hair loss.

g) Vitamin E
Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant that aids effective circulation in the scalp due to increased oxygen uptake in blood, therefore it plays an important role in promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss.

h) CQ-10
Coenzyme Q10 (CQ-10) is an essential vitamin that provides our body with the nutrients needed to grow healthy hair. They also promote overall vitality, and contribute to beautiful skin and strong nails.

II. Here are some daily foods that might help to prevent hair loss and promote hair re-growth

1. Yogurt and soy
Yogurt and soy contain high amounts of protein that is needed to maintain hair growth. Study shows that soy protein reinforces hair and stimulates its growth.

2. Dark green vegetable
Dark green vegetable contains high amounts of iron that are needed to restore oxygen levels in the blood stream as well as nurturing the body's cells.

3. Whole grain products
Whole grain contains zinc which is needed to maintain healthy hair. Zinc deficiency can lead to dry hair and oily skin.

4. Essential fatty acid
Essential fatty acid can be found abundant in cold water fish. It helps to maintain healthy cholesterol and reduce triglyceride in result of increasing circulation of blood flow in our body.

6. Nut and seed
Nuts and seeds are fatty foods which are typically the best sources of vitamin E, an immune enhancement antioxidant and nerve protector. Deficiency of vitamin E can lead to skin disorders, dry hair and loss of hair.

7. Carrots
Carrots contain high amounts of vitamin A. It is an antioxidant that helps produce healthy sebum in the scalp. Having too much vitamin A can lead to hair loss.
There are many other foods that help promote hair growth and prevent hair loss, such as fruits, egg, spinach, and broccoli.

Be sure to talk to your doctor before taking large amounts of the above foods. There may be side effects, such as overdoses of vitamin A in carrot may result in hair loss.

III. Traditionally, herbs have been around for over thousands of years and offer much success to prevent or cure diseases well before the discovery of western medicine. Here are some herbs that have been proven in treating hair loss and promoting hair growth

a) Shikakai
Acacia Concinna is a small shrub-like tree that grows in India. It's pod-like fruit is collected, dried and then grounded into a fine powder. It is used to cleanse hair, and is known to promote hair growth and get rid of dandruff. Due to these benefits, this powder was named shikakai which means "fruit for the hair".

b) Grape seed extract
Grape seed extract is a very strong antioxidant that some use as a supplement or remedy to various conditions. It contains high levels of vitamin E and essential fatty acids that are essential for maintaining hair growth and preventing hair loss.

c) Kirin Brewery new discovery
Japanese cosmetics company Shiseido working with Kirin Brewery has discovered a unique property of an extract of hops that can help to activate the melanocyte cells that generate hair pigment.

d) Saw palmetto
As we mentioned in another article, Saw palmetto is the number one choice for men. Saw palmetto helps to block the formation of 5-alpha reductase, an enzyme that causes the conversion of testosterone to DHT that causes hair loss.
